Uform acquires TKC

Uform, a leading supplier of doors and accessories to the kitchen, bedroom and living space markets across the UK and Ireland, has announced the acquisition of TKC, further strengthening its position within the kitchen sector.

Both Uform and TKC have established strong reputations across the independent kitchen retail, contract and trade manufacturing markets. This acquisition marks a significant strategic step for Uform, expanding its reach and capabilities while opening up new opportunities across additional channels, including a strengthened presence in Great Britain.

TKC brings complementary expertise, particularly in the merchant and trade sectors—areas identified as key growth opportunities for Uform. By combining Uform’s scale, manufacturing capabilities and customer-focused approach with TKC’s channel strength, the group will be well positioned to broaden its offering, enhance flexibility for customers and unlock new routes to market.

Together, the businesses will form one of the largest specialist suppliers in the kitchen market, offering an expanded product portfolio and a more comprehensive proposition across all customer channels.

Uform also confirmed it is looking forward to welcoming TKC employees into the group as it continues to drive growth across the combined business. As part of this next phase, David Adams has been appointed CEO. He brings extensive leadership experience and a strong track record in driving growth, operational performance and customer service.

Commenting on his appointment, Adams said: “I am excited to be joining Uform at such an important point in its development. The combination of Uform and TKC creates a compelling platform for growth, and I look forward to working with the team to build on the strong foundations of both businesses and deliver for our customers.”

Wes McKenna, Uform’s group sales and marketing director, added: “We are pleased to complete the acquisition of TKC following a thorough and considered process. This is an important step for the group, strengthening our kitchen and bedroom offering. By bringing together the strengths of both businesses, we are well positioned to deliver greater choice, competitive pricing and consistently high levels of service.”

Roy Saunders, CEO of TKC, said: “This acquisition is an exciting development for TKC. Uform is a highly respected brand in the sector, and together we offer a strong platform for growth, a compelling proposition for customers and long-term stability for our employees. We look forward to working closely with our new colleagues to build a successful future.”
