Kutchenhaus, the Manchester headquartered Nobilia kitchens retailer has expanded their German kitchens network with a new franchise store in Tunbridge Wells. The new showroom which is on the 1st floor, 319 St Johns Road (above Majestic Wine) is in the area of Southborough, Tunbridge Wells and is open Mon through Fri 9-5 plus appointment only opening on Sundays.
The Kütchenhaus model is still in its infancy, but the brand has ambitious expansion plans and is looking to grow its franchise network over the next year.
Officially opened to the general public on Saturday 10th December a year ago today the new showroom offered 40% off Nobilia furniture which many argued was either unrealistic or was somewhat unfair to other Nobilia independent retailers in the area whom don’t have the direct financial backing of Nobilia, unlike Kutchenhaus.
The Tunbridge Wells branch is a franchise of Kutchenhaus, operated by Dexter Stevens Kitchens and Interiors Ltd.
Philip Croak, Sales & Operations Director, Kutchenhaus said: “When we were deciding where to locate our new showroom, we quickly discovered that Tunbridge Wells would be the perfect fit. The town offers a fantastic array of shops, restaurants and businesses and we look forward to calling it home for many years.”
Kutchenhaus was established in 2004 at Trafford Retail Park, Manchester and then it developed 3 more flagship showrooms at Sutton Coldfield, York and Brentwood before expanding its franchise model which has seen a Bristol showroom planned and others in Aberdeenshire, Beverley, Chichester, Exeter, Farnborough, High Wycombe, Liverpool, two in London, one in Tunbridge Wells as detailed here and according to the business future showrooms are coming soon to Aberdeen, Cardiff, Linlithgow, Orpington and Sheffield.
