Leicht Contracts has opened a new office in Blackfriars in London, which the company says is a result of the business's expansion due to it securing more than £8m worth of kitchen contracts over 2016-17.

The new office – which is located at Hatfield, SE1 – has been “deliberately sited in London's City area to help service the contracts around here”, according to the company. The new office will be home to the whole contracts team.

Leicht Contracts is already working on contracts within the City, namely in Hackney and Dalston. Commercial manager Matt Duncan said: “The contracts team has within a year outgrown the existing office at Leicht Battersea but by having this new office we can service kitchen contracts better in east London and beyond. 2016 will be a busier year and with more interest in other developments we aim to expand even more.”

Leicht MD Liam Hopper added: “The time for joining the market was 18 months back. The seeds have been planted and we are now geared up for this lucrative market. There is a handful of players here and I’m looking forward to reducing our competitors volume with the arrival of Leicht Contracts UK.”
