Anne Kaarlela, marketing communications manager for Europe and Russia, said: “Kitchen showrooms play a huge part in the success of Insinkerator and therefore we are delighted to support the event. We are sponsoring the Kitchen Showroom of the Year category at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards as it not only supports the finalists and organisers, who put on a fantastic event, but is also an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of Insinkerator and its range of products within the industry.

“In addition, the Insinkerator Showroom Collection has been designed with kitchen specialists in mind, offering unique exclusive products that consumers wouldn’t find anywhere else. Therefore, the award category complements our Showroom Collection range of products perfectly.”

Headquartered in Wisconsin, USA Insinkerator, whilst widely known in the USA, has been making considerable brand awareness efforts in the UK for several years now.

On the importance of the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards to the KBB industry, Kaarlela said: “Now in their 26th year, the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards are highly regarded in the kitchen and bathroom industry. The awards are increasingly important, as they honour and celebrate the pioneers and hard-working members of the kitchen and bathroom industry, which is vital to show support and boost morale, especially during challenging times.”

Insinkerator has also been supporting kitchen retailers by adding value. Kaarlela explained: “Insinkerator specialist kitchen taps and food waste disposers are an easy add-on to any sink, furniture or kitchen sale, generating valuable additional turnover for the kitchen specialist. They are designed to complement all kinds of kitchens, delivering premium quality at an affordable price.

“We provide a strong after-sales service to ensure a smooth transition between our customers and their clients. We listen to our retailers and equip them with the necessary point-of-sale materials to promote sales success. Our retailers are integral to our success, so it is imperative to ensure that these materials fulfil our retailers’ needs.

“The tools we armour our retailers with include product brochures, which are provided in both digital and print formats, product information sheets and product images. We also provide an array of counter displays, for both our steaming hot water taps and food waste disposers, tap hangers, tent cards and sink stickers to liven up the showroom.”

The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards will take place on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. Nominations across all categories are now open.
