Mobalpa opens new franchise showroom in Walton-on-Thames

Franchisees David Akporehe and Odunola Etuokwu have opened Mobalpa's largest kitchen showroom to date in Walton-on-Thames following a £350,000 investment. French kitchen manufacturer Mobalpa is a growing name in the UK and the new venture has resulted in the creation of four new full-time jobs, according to the company.

The new showroom is owned by franchisees David Akporehe and Odunola Etuokwu, associate sales designer Rebecca Bradley and Elmbridge Mayor Tannia Shipley. “I decided to open a Mobalpa franchise in September 2015 after a thorough search for a new business opportunity,” said Akporehe.

“I was impressed by the business model and the range of quality products which Mobalpa offers to the market. I was encouraged by the UK team, led by Kyle Whittle and Cyril Raberin, and their transparency about the opportunity, including the support they provide, was great.”

He added: “I’m thrilled with the showroom, which is in the heart of Walton-on-Thames, and with the variety of kitchen and living solutions we have on display. Footfall has been strong with more than 70 visitors in our first month.”

Started in 1948 French kitchen manufacturer Mobalpa have some 370 stores World wide and all of the Mobalpa furniture is manufactured in their factories located in Haute-Savoie, in the heart of the Alps. Impressively Mobalpa's manufacturing equipment is 100% powered by electricity generated by renewable energy and in addition to the kitchen furniture their also offer an extensive range of chairs, stools, taps, sinks and own branded appliances through partners such as Neff, Miele, Siemens and more...
