Lisa Faulkner fronts Hotpoint appliances

Lisa Faulkner has signed a multimillion-pound deal with Hotpoint, which will see the TV chef and actress working with the brand to promote it as the kitchen’s 'most loved appliance partner’ over a two-year period.

The partnership, set to be delivered via a seven-figure media campaign, aims to 'inspire confidence among cooking novices and celebrate the fantastic offering available from Hotpoint', according to the appliance brand.

Faulkner, who won Celebrity Masterchef 2010, with past appearances in TV dramas Dangerfield, Brookside, Holby City and Spooks before her Celebrity Masterchef win will appear in TV ads this month, which the company said aim to give the message that its appliances look great and deliver outstanding results. Hotpoint's premium built-in appliances will be showcased alongside its new range of small appliances, including the Hotpoint Steam Blender and Slow Juicer.

Hotpoint has also signed a sponsorship deal with the Good Food Channel, which will include TV ads and digital displays over a 12-month period. In addition, it is partnering with the BBC Good Food magazine and website from this month until February 2015.

The brand is set to take part in several Good Food Show events, including the London show, where Faulkner will entertain audience members with a live cooking demo at the Hotpoint Kitchen stand. She will also host cooking demos and a series of several cooking tutorials at The Good Food Show, Winter in Birmingham.
