Hettich Endorsed Mint Kitchens showroom win at KBDi Designer Awards

Two kitchen design showrooms, which are both part of the prestigious Hettich  Endorsed Showroom programme won an impressive three awards at the recent KBDi Designer Awards Night in Victoria, Australia.

Counted among Victoria’s most awarded kitchen designers, Mint Kitchens by DesignWize and Mint Kitchens by Lifestyle, both part of the Mint Kitchen Group, received three big awards, adding to their already impressive portfolio of more than 20 Australian national awards in the last two years.

Frank Iaria of Mint Kitchens by DesignWize won the Medium Kitchen Design VIC/TAS and was a finalist in the Small Kitchen Design VIC / TAS, while Albert Zarb of Mint Kitchens by Lifestyle was a finalist for Medium Kitchen Design VIC / TAS.

The Hettich National Endorsed Showroom Manager, Corene Roberts comments that the Mint Kitchen Group, a regular winner of awards, has a very impressive portfolio of amazing homes renovated in VIC, where their attention to detail and quality can be observed. Corene adds that their work makes Mint Kitchens by Lifestyle and Mint Kitchens by DesignWize outstanding members of Hettich’s Endorsed Showroom programme.

Mint Kitchen Group is a cooperative of three companies including Frank and Albert’s businesses. Both showrooms were handpicked to join Hettich’s prestigious Endorsed Showroom programme.

Frank’s winning kitchen design was part of a total home renovation that took years to complete. Frank used popular Hettich products including the Le Mans Corner Unit to create a unique solution to everyday pots and pans storage, and had Sensys hinges installed throughout the kitchen for a beautiful soft-closing action on all cupboards and doors. Hettich products were also used in other rooms in the house including the laundry and bedrooms, to make every living space in the home work beautifully.

Frank’s winning kitchen was particularly commended for its excellent storage options that included modern kitchen solutions from Hettich.

Keeping with current trends, Frank’s winning design was minimalist to blend in with a modern extension to this period home. Stand-out features include floor-to-ceiling ‘block’ cabinets and beautiful marble bench tops, paired with elegant splash backs.

Corene also points out that Frank and Albert are certified kitchen and bathroom designers, and registered building practitioners, so they can ensure excellence in both the design and construction aspects, which helps to simplify things, especially for first time renovators.
