Forbes names Geberit 'Top Regarded Company'

Geberit has been awarded a place in the top 20 spots of Forbes' 'World's Top Regarded Companies' list alongside businesses such as Adidas, Microsoft and Siemens.

The list is based on Forbes' 2017 Global 2000 rankings, Geberit said, which includes public companies from 58 countries that collectively account for $35.3tn in revenue.

Those companies are then evaluated on trustworthiness and honesty, social conduct, actions as an employer and the performance of products or services.

“We are both proud and honoured to have been recognised as one of the most respected companies worldwide,” said Geberit UK managing director Mark Larden.

“The Forbes list is extremely prestigious, and it is pleasing to see Geberit positioned within the top 20 alongside other global businesses.”

He added: “This ranking is testament to Geberit's unrivalled know-how and industry-leading product and service spanning piping, integrated sanitary systems and bathroom ceramics.”

Geberit is a Swiss multinational group specialized in manufacturing and supplying sanitary parts and related systems.

The Geberit Group, which operates worldwide, is the European market leader for sanitary products. As an integrated Group, Geberit has a very strong local presence in most European countries and is therefore able to offer unique added value in both the sanitary technology and bathroom ceramics sectors.

The production capacity comprises 35 production plants, 6 of which are overseas. The Group has its company headquarters in Rapperswil-Jona in Switzerland. With more than 12,000 employees in over 40 countries, Geberit generates net sales of CHF 2.6 billion. The Geberit shares are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and has been listed on the SMI (Swiss Market Index) since 2012.
